Parent-Infant Program
The Anni Bergman Parent-Infant Program
The Anni Bergman Parent-Infant Program began in 1997 at the Contemporary Freudian Society and in 2006 came under the joint sponsorship of CFS and IPTAR. The program is unique in offering intensive training in infant observation, psychoanalytic perspectives on infancy and the development of the parent-infant relationship, and training in psychoanalytic parent-infant psychotherapy. The program is open for application to psychoanalysts, advanced psychoanalytic candidates, and to professionals with particular interest and experience in parent-infant work.
The Anni Bergman Parent-Infant Program offers several courses of study. To learn about the program’s history, current training programs, Home-Visiting Project, and research, please visit the website at www.abpip.net.
