The Challenge of Containment: An Advanced Workshop
A Psychoanalytic-Systemic perspective
Workshop with Avi Nutkevitch, PhD.
CE Credits Available for Social Worker and Licensed Psychoanalysts
This workshop is intended for those who participated in the Introductory Workshop given last year, June 15, 2016 by Dr. Nutkevitch.
The aim of this Advanced Workshop is:
To deepen the conceptual and experiential exploration of the challenge of containment from a psychoanalytic-systemic perspective, and its relevance to our various roles.
This didactic and experiential workshop expands from last year’s lecture (to be sent as a refresher to all who register prior to the workshop) in order to further elaborate the inter-weaving of the “systemic branch” of the psychoanalytic-systemic perspective with the “psychoanalytic branch” in relation to containment: that is, we will further explore through experience and conceptually the interrelatedness between these two “branches” in relation to our various roles in the consulting room, in groups and in organizations, as well as in creating more effective organizational “containers.” We will be working both in plenary and in small groups.
