Conducted by Sam Semper, Yukari Yanagino and Brian Kloppenberg, this ICC In-service workshop will address clinical issues that emerge with LGBTQ patients. We will explore how to respond therapeutically to patients who are considering or have begun some process of gender transition, and/or who identify as gender non-binary. We will also address the question of how to respond therapeutically to patients who express the desire to explore beyond the binary definitions of heterosexuality and homosexuality. This In-Service program is open to the entire IPTAR community. However, we strongly encourage all ICC-affiliated clinicians to attend and especially those who are currently working with LGBTQ patients or would like to do so in the future.
